I have recently discovered an artist called 'Arne Quinze' who produces large scale structures.
His pieces have great influenced my project, due to his use of curves, lines, colours and movement in his pieces.
Below is a variety of pictures of his work, that have influenced my work.
Men's fashion retailer L'Eclaireur recently turned to Arne Quinze to redesign their boutique in Paris with his signature mushrooming wooden plank sculpture and more.
He created a temporary installation at five-star Parisian hotel Le Royal Monceau last month, before the hotel’s closure for a year-long refurbishment.
chandeliers by Arne Quinze of Quinze & Milan, Amanda Levete of Future Systems and Diller, Scofidio and Renfro – the first of many, many images of new chandeliers created as part of the Swarovksi Crystal Palace exhibition.

Quinze's woodstick structures provide a feeling of movement and fluidity, that combine to create a large frame structure
This piece is very striking, with the bold use of colour and sharp jagged edges, together create a strong idea of movement, that i am interested in using in my pieces
The use of the framed structure moving and bursting through ceilings and floors, gives the idea of movement or energy that is really powerful and unstoppable.
I like the movement in these pieces, and the use of vibrant colours that i could use in my pieces
The use of shape and structure mixed with the image of the eye, gives a feel of a modern robot
I like the futuristic design of this piece and the use of white, smooth shape
