For my Light project I tried to explore ways of filming light in interesting ways

This film was my first experiementation with sparklers, I decided to make the film simple with just the use of a sparkler and a background, in order to understand what effects can be achieved from it.

This film was an experimentation with foam and bath lights. I put the bath light in the water then made a mountain of foam. I then used a hair dryer to, blow the foam, then when editing, I reversed the film, and added light flares.

This film was another experimentation with foam and bath lights. I put the three bath lights into water then made a mountains of foam, above them. I then used a hair dryer to, blow the foam, then when editing, I reversed the film, and changed the film into black and white and inverted it.

In this film I decided to film a sparkler surrounded by candles, in a bath with water and foam. This was an experimentational piece, I wanted to explore the use of lights and see how they work with water. I then plan to edit the piece and use it in another video

In this piece I used a sparkler and tinfoil, i wanted to try and create a mirrored effect with the tinfoil, although this didn't quite work, I found the end piece quite interesting.

In this piece I used underwater lights and the use of foam to create an interesting affect. I then used a hairdryer to blow the foam, in order for it to move and shrink.

This film, was another experiemntation with a sparkler on a raised board in the bath, then filled the bath with foam and water. I wanted the sparkler to go into the foam in order to look like it had disappeared into the blanket of foam.

This is another film experiementing light sources, for this i decided to film, lots of different light source i could find, from standby lights, street lights, to christmas lights. I tried to show the progression of small light sources, when the person is unconfident and shy, to larger light sources to show the idea of discovery as the person becomes stronger and more confident.

 During editing i started experiementing with diffenert effects i could use, from colour change, to kaleidoscope effects, trying to see what different effects I could create.
